The Club has a thriving social community throughout the year when members, friends and family can enjoy what the club has to offer, what ever the season.  

During the Sailing season the club is busy with the Sailing Programme both within the club, Port of Plymouth and for some more adventurous sailors at National, International and World level.  The club is only closed on a Monday during summer months and offers a friendly welcome to members and visitors alike with catering on offer Tuesday and Thursday race evenings, Fridays for Cadet evening and Sundays for Sunday Lunch.  (Advanced booking with the Bar advisable).  Wish to know more then check out Racing and Sailing sections

 

Summer months also see the Cruising section take to the water to venture near and far often meeting up through an organised programme for 'cruising together' or 'cruising independently' and meeting up at the arranged destinations.  Cruising numbers have grown over the past years and now has an active social community both in and away from the Club.  If this is for you then check out the Cruising sections. 

Paddle Boarders and Kayak Users facilities have recently been added to our Membership, for further information contact the Club Administrator.

Cadets meet every Friday April to September in the Summer months and apart from learning to sail through the RYA Programme it is clear that they equally enjoy the social life it offers.  Off water theory training through the Winter months enables them to continue with meeting up at the Club.  At present 50 Cadets aged from 10 - 18 enjoys what the club has to offer, with many more on an ever growing waiting list.  Interested to know more then check out the Cadet section

When the sailing season ends the Social Committee comes to the fore with a varied Autumn and Winter Programme of  Talks, Quiz Nights, Supper Evenings, Fine Dining Dinners and Festive Entertainment.  The club continues to close on a Monday and the club's opening hours change to Winter opening times come end of September/October so always best to check before visiting.  Catering is limited in Winter months to Thursday Supper Evenings (ever other Thursday) Sunday Lunches, Fine Dining 3rd Saturday each month and other occassional planned events. Friday's become Family and Friends evening when members can bring family and friends for an end of week social. Young families in particular enjoy getting together on a Friday.
